While a magician creates visual illusions by manipulating objects, a mentalist creates illusions of the mind. It all appears as though he could genuinely read other people’s thoughts, predict their decisions and influence their actions. It’s thanks to a mix of psychology, verbal techniques and keen observation of people that these illusions become possible. So it’s really the human being who is at the center of mentalism. Moreover, while a magician mainly aims to entertain, a mentalist can deliver a corporate message in an original way: each effect can illustrate a key concept chosen by the organizer (leadership, change, etc.).

Hassan lives in Casablanca and can travel to any Moroccan or UAE city: Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and beyond. For events abroad or requiring more than a day of travel, additional fees apply on top of the performance rate. These details are, of course, discussed in advance.

Can the content be tailored to the company’s needs?
Absolutely—and that’s the whole point of hiring a mentalist. The tone of the performance matches the energy of the event, and key messages or themes can be woven into the presentation (communication that breaks down silos, leadership, etc.). For example, the mentalist can pull a prediction out of a sealed envelope and reveal the name of a new product, a new strategy or a reorganization. The goal is to leave a far stronger impression than any PowerPoint slide.

What types of corporate events are you available for?

What is the recommended length for a stage presentation?
A short format (20 min) is well suited to kicking off a seminar, providing an opening act or an interlude. A long format (about 45 min) makes for a complete show within your program.

What happens during a mentalism stage show?
It’s above all an interactive experience that involves the entire audience. I reveal the thoughts of some, predict the decisions of others and influence the actions of a group in real time. The goal is to amaze, to re-energize the room, to create an unforgettable moment and to convey the key messages chosen by the organizer.

How does a strolling mentalism session (Mix & Mingle) work?
The mentalist moves among the guests, approaches small groups and offers them astonishing, interactive and inexplicable demonstrations. When he moves on, the group immediately launches into a conversation about what just happened. The ice is instantly broken.

Is it a show for any type of audience?
Mentalism is entertainment intended primarily for an adult audience, all the more so in a corporate context. Depending on the organizer’s requirements, a light and humorous style can be adopted, or a more serious and formal tone to suit the context.
